zloben9000 says:

cool its got the S SHIT LINE Package

Andrew Arru says:

@stevehammes it should, mine has a push button also

Boo the GP says:

@MaximusCritter that keyless push button start is an optional feature.

bmister50 says:

I just got one and I love it….It’s my 2nd s4.

minorkeys41 says:

@TheParkem It’s an option. The prestige package comes with it. I believe
it’s tied to the advanced key option.

Andy Lee says:

Can I have two of these?

Lorne Phillips says:

@LornePhi mine does as well as19 inch wheels and bluetooth but it is 2011

ms3bani says:

@MaximusCritter how about YOU look at the center console a bit harder.
there is no push button start on the car he was given. you can get it as an
option for extra money but it is NOT standard.

lupischuckle says:

Push button start has to be the most useless feature the auto industry has
come up with since rain sensing wipers. Was turning the wrist really too
much trouble for some people? “I’d love to take my car for a spin, but that
starting procedure is waay to strenuous for me! Can’t I just push a button?
And why do I have to figure out when it’s raining? I can’t keep my eyes on
my nav screen AND the weather. My car should do that for me.” People are
lazy.

jbdadizzle says:

i feel like audis and all german cars are so over priced but what do you
guys think? i had bmws in the past and i wasnt happy with the price but
still dealt with it but i was thinking about getting an s4 or a s5 but
other cars like camaro or mustang or even genesis coupe could be bought
almost with half of the price of an audi

MrFunk says:

Only the Prestige has the push start. Also – drive select comes with the
sport differential.

ricepaddy69 says:

Hi, Steve. Love the review, as always. But isn’t the push fob to start
feature equivalent to the push button start? It seems like you’re doing the
same motion (pushing your finger) to get the beast awake. And what a
honking beast it is! If it doesn’t tickle your fancy (it sounds like it
doesn’t ), then at least you have the solace to know that Aston Martins
have the exact same feature. =)

oldirty says:

@stevehammes its an option

keyser soze says:

wow , 53 grand is a lil steep considering this is an entry level model { a4
& s4 } , i can get an E class merc or 5 series { mildly equipped} on that
price

nsousa817 says:

@MaximusCritter As an option (smart key)

JAYFROMHARLEM says:

Steve you have the BEST job in the world :)

Stephen Wood says:

why didn’t you get the manual???

Cyrus Salimi says:

You said hardly meets the balance? Or did I misunderstand? Loved the
review! @stevehammes

papa roco says:

audi smokes bmw

Christopher Tan says:

Why on earth would you want a sports car in automatic?

lupischuckle says:

@rhim812 I do have a car with push button start- and I still find it
ridiculous. I lock my house with my keys, I lock the office with my keys,
and my car keys are on the same chain- so how hard would it be to just keep
the keys in my hand and start my car with them? Not very. I also have rain
sensing windshield wipers which I hate. It’s all about personal choice of
course, some people love these things, I find them useless. But each to
their own.

cgtpotomac says:

@stevehammes You are right, you were driving a Premium Plus model and not a
Prestige packaged car that comes with a PUSH button start and larger 5
spoke wheels amongst other things.

ThousanWhite says:

Give me a base model S4 with the B&O sound system and I’m good.

pirochip says:

You could almost buy an m3 for that money

Jacob Rhim says:

@lupischuckle reason why push start button was invented, was not because
people were too lazy to turn their wrist, but was because it was convenient
to just have ur sensor key in your pocket or your purse without having to
take it out. I have a push to start engine button and i just unlock my car
without taking out my key in my pocket, sit down, turn on engine and drive
off, once you have a car like that you’ll notice how much it makes a
difference.

Cameron Fraser says:

Call me crazy, but I like the Avant body style better. One of those in
black, oh man.
